Holistic Massage
Sometimes the body holds what the mind cannot name. Holistic massage works with physical tension and the emotional stress stored in the body, gently supporting release, nervous system calm, and a quiet return to yourself. You leave feeling grounded, restored, and more at ease in your own skin.

Deep Tissue & therapeutic Massage
For the tension that has been sitting for a while. This session uses targeted techniques to release tight muscles, ease chronic pain, and support your body in letting go of stored stress. Simple stretches and movements may be included to help you carry the results beyond the treatment room.

Coaching & Hypnotherapy
A combination of practical coaching and guided relaxation that works gently with the subconscious mind. This session is for the patterns that keep showing up, habits like emotional eating, procrastination, or negative self-talk that feel difficult to shift on a surface level. You remain fully aware and in control throughout, and many people leave feeling both deeply relaxed and empowered.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
A gentle and deeply relaxing treatment that encourages the body’s own fluid movement, reduces swelling, and quietly supports natural detoxification. It also settles the nervous system in a way that feels almost effortless. Ideal when your body needs a reset, is recovering from injury, or is simply asking for something softer.

Breathwork
A guided group session designed to support the nervous system, release stored tension, and create space for deeper awareness. Breathwork meets you exactly where you are and can be as gentle or as expansive as your body needs.

Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports the body in returning to a state of balance and calm. Sessions work with the body's natural energy flow to ease tension, reduce stress, and create a deep sense of stillness that can be felt long after the session ends.

With Carolyn · $65 for a 1 hour session
Sound Healing Journey’s
Some experiences go beyond words. Sound Immersion is a deeply restorative session that uses crystal singing bowls, sound, frequency and colour therapy to guide the body into a state of profound rest. There is nothing to do and nowhere to be. You simply arrive, lie down, and let the sound do what it knows how to do.

Carolyn brings a deeply nurturing and intuitive approach to wellbeing at Breath & Being, with a strong focus on energy healing and opening the body's chakra system. With a background in counseling, she offers gentle talk therapy to support emotional awareness, alongside practical techniques to help calm and regulate the nervous system.
Her work is grounded in connection - from holding space in women's circles to guiding reiki sessions that weave in mindfulness breathwork, and subtle energy practices to support balance and flow. Carolyn's sessions invite you to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with yourself in a safe and supportive environment.
Verena

With over 25 years of experience in the health and wellness space, Verena brings a holistic and practical approach to helping people feel stronger, more energised, and at home in their bodies.
Her background includes Pilates and back rehabilitation, physiotherapy, massage therapy, personal training, and subconscious coaching through hypnotherapy. This allows Verena to support both the physical body and the underlying patterns that can contribute to stress, tension, and ongoing health challenges.
Verena offers a combination of movement, hands-on treatments, and mindset work — from Pilates classes and lymphatic or therapeutic massage to coaching and hypnotherapy — all designed to support lasting, sustainable wellbeing.
While much of her work has focused on supporting women navigating stress, low energy, and weight challenges, she welcomes anyone who is ready to reconnect with their body and create positive change in their health and lifestyle.
Outside of the studio, Verena enjoys exploring New Zealand’s nature — running, biking, or horse riding — as well as strength training at the gym. She also loves creating spaces for connection and restoration through her self-care retreats, and recharges through time in nature, sauna, and stillness.
Verena’s approach is supportive, grounded, and empowering — helping you move well, feel better, and reconnect with yourself.
Kate

Kate Turner-Syme is the founder of Pure Connection, a globally accredited breathwork facilitator, tarot reader and intuitive guide based in Canterbury. Her work is centred around creating calm, supportive spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and feel safe to explore what is happening beneath the surface.
Her approach to breathwork is gentle, trauma informed and body led. Sessions are designed to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, clarity and a deeper sense of connection to self. Rather than pushing or performing, Kate invites people to move at their own pace and listen to what their body is ready for.
Kate believes breathwork can be a powerful tool for those navigating stress, anxiety, overwhelm, disconnection, grief or simply the feeling of carrying too much for too long. Her sessions combine conscious connected breathwork with grounding, reflection and gentle support, creating an experience that feels both nurturing and transformational.
Through Pure Connection, Kate offers one on one breathwork, group sessions and intuitive support, all with the intention of helping people breathe deeply, trust themselves and step into a new way of seeing life.

Jodie is an intuitive, multi-modality energy healer who weaves together sound, crystal singing bowls, crystals, colour therapy and wellness blends to support the body in returning to a place of deep rest and balance. Her Sound Immersion sessions are centred on the belief that sound, vibration, frequency and colour create a whole body experience that can be felt long after the session ends. A space to pause, reset, and reconnect with yourself at the most elemental level.
